An NLP app concept built at FinHacks to solve financial readability. We placed first and got $200 in value.
Introduction
The problem is that financial terms of service and other financial documents aren't easily legible. Many people today accept the terms and services without reading them because:
- No one wants to read 16 boring pages of 11 point font
- There is a ton of financial lingo most people don't understand
- Any possible language barriers
Product
We created Talkmoney - using NLP to make financial documents more readable by returning a simple summary with the most important points from the document. The goal was to improve financial readability for everyone :)
